Marketing Assistant.

Role Overview:

To support the Marketing Manager across a range of marketing related projects and initiatives aimed at recruiting new franchisees and winning, retaining and developing clients on behalf of our 40+ franchised branch network.

Responsibilities will include:

Maintaining / updating web content - CMS upload management - franchise and cleaning websites

Direct mail - managing mailing campaigns on behalf of branches / liaison with mail fulfilment house

Data preparation and analysis

Google Adwords PPC - managing spend reporting to finance departments, creation of individual campaign reports for branches

CRM management

Booking / content creation / management - online and offline ads

Updating / managing social media

Liaison with multiple suppliers

Managing marketing collateral

Assist in creating website / social media video content

Proof reading / editing news items

Supporting individual branch requests - e.g. ad content, bespoke letters

Copy amendments as required - e.g. sales letter / editorials

Branch reminders / chasers / follow up calls and emails

Compiling and generating various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

Meeting scheduling - e.g. Webinar Meeting set ups, room preparation, supplier / branch liaison

Management Information reporting / tracking

Sales call filtering

Presenting at national franchise meetings

Other information:

Office based with H/O team (Erdington, Birmingham) - must live within easy daily commute

Salary £20,000 plus 28 days holiday

Reports to the Marketing Manager

Essential skills/experience:

Educated to degree level in Marketing (or degree & professional marketing qualification)

Customer centric ethos

Attention to detail

Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects

Ability to work to strict deadlines

Excellent communication skills - written / spoken

Presentation skills

Microsoft Office proficiency - Word / Excel / Powerpoint

Preferred skills/experience:

B2B Marketing

Experience of Franchise sector

Comfortable presenting at Minster national meetings

Working knowledge of Google Adwords

Clean driving licence
