Person Specification:

This inspiring centrally located Birmingham school are looking for an ambitious and dedicated English graduate who is keen to take up a graduate teaching assistant role in anticipation of training to teach in the next academic year. You should be an assertive individual who can get involved in the daily running of the school from day one, working with young people to inspire them with a love of learning. You must be a high-achieving graduate of an English based subject with good GCSE's and A Levels. You will be supporting students predominantly within the English department but an overall ability within maths, science and English is essential as in order to go on to teacher training in the future you must possess at least a C in these subjects.

The School:

The school is an 11-18 secondary with sixth form and is centrally located in Birmingham. There is on site car parking and a bus stop directly outside school which goes straight to Birmingham Moor Street.
