The Company and the Role:

The Company is a leading Global Turbocharger service and parts supplier, with flagship locations in Southampton, Rotterdam, Houston, Athens and Malta, as well as a global network of sales and service partners. They provide exceptional service and high-quality parts to the Marine and Power Generation industries.

Due to recent expansion of the Group, they are looking for an experienced and focused Sales Executive to play a major part in delivering new customer growth to the business. The position is permanent.

This exciting role offers a competitive basic salary and generous commission, resulting in a highly competitive package on achieving sales objectives.

Key Features of the Role:

Focused on winning new business, as well as increasing revenue from selected Key Accounts.

Research potential customers in a given territory and identify new prospects to present the Company as their potential parts and service provider.

Develop new business opportunities in conjunction with our sales team.

Manage a portfolio of existing customers and sales generation from existing accounts.

Forecast preparation and contractual discussions.

Monitoring and driving customer performance.

Liaise with all relevant internal departments as necessary.

Promotion of Group facilities.

Weekly reporting and attending scheduled sales meetings.

Knowledge and Skills:

You will ideally be an accomplished sales professional with a background of selling into the marine or power generation sectors.

Experience of selling within the Commercial Shipping Industry and a technical background will be an advantage, although we are more interested in a sales professional with the proven ability to win new business in a competitive environment.

Full product and application training will be provided.

Previous experience in an International Sales role would be an advantage.

You should be able to demonstrable success in selling a technical/Industrial product.

You will possess exceptional presentation and communication skills, able to build & maintain strong customer relationships.

You will be commercially minded with the tenacity to succeed in a tough sales environment.

The role will require you to travel extensively both within the UK and Internationally.

What????????s on Offer?

Basic salary will be GBP30,000 per annum supported by a bonus scheme whereby the Company predict that you should earn around GBP70,000 a year and possibly as much as GBP100,000 a year.
