Role Purpose

To support and develop potential training sales enquiries through proactive calling and account management, and assisting the Business Development Managers with lead creation or appointment setting

Trainee Sales Executive Key responsibilities

- To achieve planned revenue growth targets for defined client account portfolio

- Proactive sales calls to clients from marketing supplied data and active account management.

- Generation of leads for in-house and certification opportunities from client engagement.

- Provide input to the preparation and issue of proposals/tenders within an agreed fee/cost structure to achieve revenue targets

- Updating and maintaining sales process activities on training data base in line with business targets and objectives

- Pro-active up selling of LRQA UK Training products and services to maximise sales opportunities

- Preparation and presentation of account performance/KPI information

- Updating and maintaining client contact information to maintain a high level of data integrity on training database

- Providing cover for all elements of the sales team as required by the management team

- Feedback to management on potential sales opportunities and customer product requirements for new business opportunities

- Analyse sales projects through client contact and report findings in line with business objectives

To be considered

- Comprehensive knowledge of training products and services

- Selling, account management and negotiation skills

- Knowledge of training skills including fundamental training needs analysis

- Experience of working with complex tenders

- Competent with Microsoft products including excel, word and power point and the use of LRQA systems including Course Booker, Salesforce, JDE
