We are currently looking for a Recruitment Consultant to lead on our apprenticeship brokerage service. Your role will be to work with the employment hub & build relationships with schools, colleges & employers enabling young people to access apprenticeship opportunities. You will secure bookings with schools & colleges to give talks to young people in years 11,12 and 13 who want to secure an apprenticeship or employment opportunity. You will help to broker apprenticeship opportunities with employers & match suitable candidates to these opportunities, supporting them through the recruitment process in order to secure employment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with employment hub (sourcing of case study examples, facilitate young people into opportunities & research)
- Appraise young people???s CVs so that their transferable skills & notable achievements really stand out
- Keep up to date on the development of apprenticeship standards so that this information can be shared
- Give young people information, based on their interests/skills, & advise them on which websites to upload their CV to
- Help companies to profile their opportunities to young people, organising promotional evenings at company workplaces
- Contribute ideas to marketing campaigns which are being run by Leicester City Council???s Partner Employment Hub
- Maintain a management information tracker so that it meets the requirements of the ESF Employment Hub Partner plan
- Ensure all activities & evidence is captured in line with European Funding Requirements
- Send CVs to employers who are looking to recruit young people, encourage the employer to offer a work experience

Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to demonstrate a track record in bringing in recruitment business with employers
- Able to demonstrate a track record in meeting measurable targets & maintaining management information
- Be very organised, able to demonstrate how you use your initiative & show creativity in delivering results
- A great team player & be prepared to help out in other areas of the business if required
- Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle insured for business use as there may be the need to travel
- Able to give first rate advice on CVs & to give advice on apprenticeship choices (prior experience is essential)

An enhanced DBS check will be required for the role.
