Credit Support and Technical Team Leader Derby Competitive Benefits As a Credit Support and Technical Team Leader you will have  a chance to join our team in Derby The European Finance Service Centre (EFSC) currently employs approximately 150 people and is one of three FSCs around the globe. The EFSC provides various accounting services to Rolls-Royce wholly owned businesses and joint ventures around the world and features heavily in the Finance strategy and roll-out of the Financial Services Data Model (FSDM). Finance makes an invaluable contribution to our strategic development, decision-making and improvement initiatives. They work closely with stakeholders across Rolls-Royce, as well as with our global supply chain. A position within the Accounts Receivables department for a Credit and Technical Support Team Leader has arisen. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the team's workload and developing their capability. The team mostly works on managing risk reviews, reports, invoices, as well as numerous ad hoc requests. Over the last couple of years, the team has continually been expanding its overall business coverage and knowledge. The possibilities of future migrations and intentions of supporting wider areas and functions within Rolls-Royce means exciting times and challenges lay ahead.   Key Accountabilities Producing and presenting financial data to management, explaining significant variations and making corrections, maintaining the production of regular reporting functions. Making suggestions and managing activities related to the continuous improvement of internal processes, including any root cause analysis. Organising special projects that require co-ordination of a cross-process team. Reviewing individual team member performance and performing annual staff appraisals and objective settings. Providing leadership and management of the team, including training, motivating and providing opportunities for development. Managing or providing support within the capacity of AR processes, demonstrating experience and knowledge in making sound judgements. Ensuring SLA measures are met.   Qualifications: ICM/AAT qualified and/or proven experience. Familiarity with SAP/Baan/Excel. Previous experience in a team leader role or demonstrable experience in leading/managing people. Experience and involvement in a continuous process improvement culture. Confidence to build and maintain strong internal and external working relationships. Strong analytical skills. Goal oriented. Excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills. Adaptability to a changing environment.
