Junior to Mid-level .Net Web Developer A dynamic and progressive software solutions provider seeks a junior to mid-level .Net Web Developer to join their development team. This is a great opportunity for a .Net Web Developer to gain experience with gathering requirements, producing design documentation, writing code (both Client and Server side) and being involved in developing a SQL Server database. Role: .Net Developer Salary: £20,000- £32,000 Benefits: Flexible working hours, health insurance, company performance related bonus, stakeholder pension. Location: Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Loughborough, Ashbourne, Burton upon Trent, Leicester, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Chesterfield, Worksop. The role is open to both junior and mid-level developers with between 1-3 years of experience. The successful .Net Web Developer daily duties will include: Assist in the design, coding and testing of technical solutions Support and maintain existing web applications Follow common coding standards to ensure consistent code-base Work closely with other members of Agile teams to ensure successful deliverables on a regular basic Contribute to the department's ways of working by suggesting, and implementing, continuous improvement initiatives Gather requirements Involvement with the development of a SQL Server database Essential Requirements: ·1-3 years of experience in ASP.NET and C# as well as a good understanding of MSSQL database technologies ·Sound understanding of .Net Framework, ideally version 4.5 is required ·Knowledge and experience with SQL. Beneficial: ·Obtained a good degree in software development including relational database modules ·Practical experience of WPF and WCF would be beneficial The ideal .Net Web Developer will demonstrate: ·Strong written and verbal communications skills ·Be analytical and good at problem solving ·Team player: able to share knowledge with the team About the Company The software solutions provider has been established for over 25 years, and have enjoyed significant success in the last 18 months.
