Continuous Improvement Manager Burton - Upon - Trent Up To £46k plus Company Car Allowance & Benefits Salary is negotiable depending upon experience About the Company: A local Manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to remove waste and increase efficiency. This role will be based at the Burton site but will include site visits to the client's other locations. Purpose of Role - Continuous Improvement Manager: - To ensure safety is treated as the number one priority. - To ensure the workplace is organised in the most effective manner using 5S principles. - Develop the strategy, processes and documentation for Lean and CI roll out and implementation. - Implement new techniques through training and coaching. - Responsible for running regular CI meetings to promote the use of 5s, problem solving, yellow belt projects and other Lean & CI methodology - Drive performance improvement through waste reduction, financial improvements through cost reduction and value creation, machine availability improvement and Customer Experience improvement. Candidate requirements - Continuous Improvement Manager: The ideal Continuous Improvement Manager must have the following skills, qualifications & experience: - Degree in process, engineering or materials subject or equivalent experience. - Minimum 2 years of working in a manufacturing environment. - Experience of using and implementing Lean/CI improvements. - IOSH Working Safety Certificate - Six Sigma Green/Black Belt LEAN Engineering Recruitment Ltd are acting as a 3rd party on behalf of our client.
