An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Operations Manager to join our prestigious, Ted Baker contract in Derby on a Full-Time Permanent basis. You`ll be working in our VAS (Value Added Service) department, this will predominantly be day shift (10-6pm) Responsible for overseeing the warehouse VAS operation with a team of Section Managers and Senior Operatives, you will effectively manage a team of approximately 100 warehouse colleagues on a two shift basis (Working 6 Days a week), ensuring that the customer`s needs are fully understood and translated into effective operational plans. You will create an operational environment in which the operating team has the knowledge, skills and experience to manage the site to the highest standards on behalf of Ted Baker. Ensuring that the operating team has the necessary experience and confidence to make informed operational decisions, you will provide the team with the tools, accurate documented processes, equipment and support to carry out the all operational requirements. A key focus of this role will be continuous improvement so would suit someone that can display a history of this. To exceed in this role you will be an experienced Site Manager or strong Operations Manager from a complex, fast moving environment and be highly customer focused. To play a valued part you will have experience with delivering cost management processes.
