A very friendly manufacturing organisation have a requirement for a Health and Safety Manager to strengthen their management team. DUTIES: - Provide Health, Safety and Environmental expertise, advice and support to the business - Ensure the Company does not breach its statutory duties - Manage all Environmental aspects, to include business facilities management - This is a "hands-on" role, 80% and 20% planning and guidance - Development, implementation and compliance / adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental policies - Make recommendations for change / improvement s as necessary - Working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure compliance - Control HS&E risk assessments - Maintenance of ISO14001 - Contribute to the UK Ergonomic Improvement project - Conduct and participate in internal and external audits for HS & E - Maintain all HS & E records for the business REQUIREMENTS: - It is essential that you hold a NEBOSH qualification - You will have gained your Health, Safety and Environmental management experience from within a manufacturing / engineering industry sector - Good knowledge of ISO18001 - This is a high volume production environment, and would suit an energetic passionate professional in Health and Safety.
