Working for Vista means you will be working for one of the oldest and largest local charities in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We’ve been working with people with sight loss and their families for over 150 years, providing support to over 6,000 children and adults with sight loss.

As a Finance Assistant you will be required to work 20 hours per week flexibly Monday – Friday, including additional hours from time to time to meet the needs of the job.

The successful candidate will;

  • Record invoices onto a spreadsheet
  • Ensuring all purchase invoices are properly authorised and matched to the delivery note
  • Assisting as necessary with the nominal ledger
  • Deal with payment queries
  • Input sales invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Filing documents as and when necessary
  • Relief as necessary for data entry of variable pay details
  • Provide support with preparation of the monthly payroll

Within this role we are looking for a candidate with great skills in communication and IT, with the ambition; drive and enthusiasm to succeed in this position.
